  • ICT Event 2008, Lyon, France, 25 - 27 November 2008
    This conference is Europe's largest ICT research event in 2008. The event is organised by the European Commission in cooperation with the French Presidency of the European Union and will examine European Union priorities in ICT research for over €2 billion of funding available in 2009-2010. More than 4000 participants are expected to attend the
    event. TURBINE will be present with the networking session n.54 on the 26 November.

  • Biometrics Exhibition and Conference 2008, London, UK, 21 - 23 October 2008

  • ISO/IEC JTC1 SC27 WG5 meeting, Limassol, Cyprus, 6 - 10 October 2008
    The experts group of Identity Management meet in October in Cyprus. Experts of ISO/IEC Sub Committee 27 on IT security techniques will examine national contributions. TURBINE will submit its expertise about the requirements on identity management.
  • CEN/ISSS FGB meeting, London, 29 September 2008
    The CEN ISSS Focus Group Biometrics is a European standardisation group. This Focus Group deals with biometrics standardisation issues in Europe, not covered by National Organisation. TURBINE will take the opportunity to present standardisation efforts addressed by the consortium.

  • EBF - Biometric Encryption Seminar, Amsterdam, 24 June 2008
    Biometric Encryption technology appears to enable the matching of individuals' unique keys within a large scale information system without exposing their original biometric samples. This technology could make biometrics revocable and privacy enhancing. During this EBF seminar a variety of stakeholders will meet to exchange information and experiences.
